Fukrey Returns Movie Review

Fukrey returns, starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, is the sequel to the 2013 sleeper hit Fukrey and here is our movie review.

If you have seen Fukrey, you know the characters well enough. Hunny interprets Choocha’s dreams to get the winning lottery numbers. Then you have Pandit and Zafar and Bholi. In the first part, because of the Fukrey Boys,Bholi ends up behind the bars. This time, the plot begins with her getting out by making a deal with the minister that involves a payback of 10 crores. She gets the Fukrey boys together, tied to a shaft, and suggests they devise a plan to raise 10 crores to amend their wrongs. Naturally, their ultimate resort is lottery. They collect money from public and invest. We have the villain in Babulal Bhatia (Rajiv Gupta) as the scheming politician who runs the lottery business in Delhi. He sniffs the plan and traps them by changing the winning number at last minute. This ensues an outlandish series of events which is ultimately ‘good vs evil’. Here the biggest plot device is Choocha’s newest gift, promotion, which he calls Deja-Choo

What’s Good: Continuous dosage of hilarious moments, Varun Sharma’s beefed up version of Choocha, Vipul Vig’s street style writing (Which is a major reason for this sequel to exist).

What’s Bad: Few flaws in the story and few unexplained things; not an imperfection give the genre of this film.

Watch or Not?: If you’re one of those who made Fukrey a sleeper hit, go for this one & get entertained yet again.

The Fukras will make you laugh out loud for which you might want to release the pressure.

Fukrey Returns is one super-entertaining movie. Retaining the magic of the first part, this easily is one of the best comedies of the year.

Anurag Kashyap’s film The Brawler (Mukkabaaz), which revolves around the struggles of a boxer from a lower-caste and gives a peek into cow vigilantism, has premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Produced by Anand L. Rai and Kashyap's Phantom Films, the film stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Zoya Hussain, Ravi Kishan and Jimmy Shergill. 

Mukkabaaz is booked to discharge dramatically on 12 January 2018.

Dil Diyan Gallan is composed by Vishal and Shekhar and sung by Atif Aslam while the song's lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil. The beautiful song has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.

We were not over yet with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Swag Se Swagat, when Tiger aka Salman launched the new song titled Dil Diyan Gallan from Tiger Zinda Hai and it made our weekend. Dil Diyan Gallan featuring Katrina and Salman is a perfect love song for 'all ages' and it will definitely uplift your mood. Unlike guns and war sequences, this time Tiger (played by Salman) and Zoya (played by Katrina) can be seen romancing each other in the new song and we can't get enough of the duo's chemistry.
